About
the Game
Although most Final Fantasy installments are independent stories
with various different settings and main characters, they feature
common elements that define the franchise. Such recurring elements
include plot themes, character names, and game mechanics. Plots
center on a group of heroes battling a great evil while exploring
the characters' internal struggles and relationships.
How it Works
Combat is a turned-based system, yet unlike early games of the
Dragon Quest series, the Final Fantasy series combat style allows
you to see both the monsters and your party at the same time as
opposed to Dragon Quest’s first person perspective view.
Thought Bubble
Turn based combat – eliminates the need for individual timers, third
person perspective shows both enemies and the players party of
adventurers.
Random encounters – allow players to improve their characters
virtually anywhere.
